Sharenian Guild Quest Guide (created by Pinky)

...Okay. Here we go...pinkywinkee's attempt to explain GPQ.

The following was mentioned in the GPQ Page~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Things You Should Know

There is no level requirement for this party quest. It is required that you are all in the same guild, in this case, Intensity. In order to lead, you need to be a Jr. Master or the Master of the guild. This quest takes place in Perion at Excavation Site <Camp>. It is on the world map, so you can just follow that.

  • You need at least 6 people to start it. If at any point during the guild quest, there is less than 6 people, you will be transported out within 5 seconds. This will also happen if the leader of the guild quest leaves.
  • You can leave the guild quest at any point by talking to the Returning Rock on every stage.
  • At least one of which has to be a Jr. Master or Master.
  • At least one of which has to be a Magician of some sort with level 17+ teleport.
  • At least one of which has to be a Thief of some sort with haste and dark sight.
  • At least one of which has to have a ranged attack. [dragon knights+, bowmen, assassins+ will work]
  • At least one of which has to be strong enought to kill Ergoth (the GPQ boss, who btw is very sexy).
  • At least one of which has to be a level 30 or lower character. Note that they should have a decent amount of dexterity in order to kill the devil slimes.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To Start
The leader clicks on Shuang to register for GPQ. The leader clicks on Shuang again to start and enter the GPQ. All the members click on Shuang, after the leader goes in, to enter the GPQ. Members have 3 minutes to enter to the GPQ after the leader enters before the door to Sharenian is opened, and people are no longer allowed to enter. Enter the portal when the door to Sharenian opens.
Stage 0
Hit a purple rock in order to obtain a pair of Protector Rock earrings. Put these one before moving on to the next map or you will die. *Note there are two maps with purple rocks. Do not break the two purple rocks on the second map. Those are left for the sacrifice. If you die, you will be teleported back to the second map of purple rocks. You are not kicked out of the party quest. You can simply walk back.
Stage 1
  • Two or three people will do this stage. This stage involves hitting the statues that light up in the correct order, its much like Bemind. The leader clicks the Guard Statue to begin. Four statues will light up in a certain order. This requires good communication between guild members.
  • When you see a statue light up, you say a number to indicate that a statue has been lit. If you see a statue light up, and no one has said anything else, then you say "1" in guild chat, and that statue will be recognized as the first statue. If someone has already said 1, then you say 2, and so on.
  • When all four numbers has been said, hit the statues in order in which they were lit. The person that said the number is responsible for hitting that statue. Hit it once and only once. Once you've hit the statue, say the number of the statue that you hit. Ex. "1h" "2h"
  • When all four statues have been hit, the leader clicks on the Guard Statue again to pass.
  • There are 3 tests in this stage. Four, five, and six Statues. If you fail one, you have to start all over from the first test. On passing the last test, the stage will clear. Proceed to the next stage.
Stage 2
  • The magician and thief is needed in this stage. You are to take the Longinus [or something like that] spears from various jumping quests and place them at the top of various other jumping quests....lol.
  • You will notice that there are 5 portals. Two on the top platform, 1 in the middle, and 2 on the bottom. The lower right portal is the portal to the next stage. It's locked until all the spears have been put into place.
  • For the remaining 4 rooms, there is the tele/ds room (top left), spears room (top right), key room (middle), and jq room (bottom).
  • From jq room, there are three jumping quests, blue, yellow, and red. At the top of each jumping quest, there is a spear. Jump up to the top of each, and obtain the spear through breaking the chains and jump+pick up. *Note that one character can only hold one spear at a time. Do not try to do all three jumping quests, because if you cannot pick up the spear, it will fade away.
  • After obtaining a spear, announce which of the jumping quests, blue, yellow, or red, has been done so that none of your other guild members will attempt it.
~~~~~~~~~~
  • The tele/ds room is locked. To obtain the key for it, go into the key room. Defeat all the monsters and obtain the key. Drop the key outside of the tele/ds room and wait for it to open.
  • Inside the tele/ds room, you will notice that there are two platforms. The mage teleports through the pillars on the bottom platform. At the end, there will be a box. Break it and obtain a set of keys. Teleport back and give the keys to a thief with dark sight
  • The thief then takes the keys and casts dark sight in order to talk through the golems safely. If you tough the golems, it is instant death. At the end of the platform, there is a locked room. Drop the keys on the door and wait for the door to open.
  • Go in the room and break the chains to obtain the fourth spear.
~~~~~~~~~~
  • In the spears room (top right) there will be four jumping quests. At the top of these four jumping quests is an empty...thing in which you are to drop the 4 spears (one for each jumping quest). No one spear belongs to a specific jumping quest. They are all the same.
Ropes JQ       Haste JQ               Portal               Combination JQ          Teleport JQ
(A or 1)            (B or 2)                                           (C or 3)                     (D or 4)
  • No skill is needed for the ropes jq.
  • Haste is needed for the haste jq.
  • No skill is needed for the combo jq. The combination is 0142212.
  • Teleport is needed for the tele jq.
  • After you put a spear in, once again, announce which one you have done in guild chat so that none of your other guild members will attempt it.
  • Once all four spears are placed, the stage will clear and the bottom right portal will open. Proceed to the next stage.
Stage 3
  • It is best that only one person (preferable the leader) attack for this stage.
  • After killing all the monsters, four scrolls, and four medals will drop. The leader and only the leader is to pick these up. Once they are picked up, no one else can have them, so be careful.
  • This stage is like codebreaker. There is a certain 4 item combination that you must solve.
  • After the four scrolls and four medals have been collected, people other than the leader go into the top left and right portals to break boxes to get foods and drinks.
  1. Place one of each medal on the 4 statues. This combination is recognized as MMMM. The leader then clicks on the Guard Statue.
  2. The guard statue will tell you how many offerings are correct, and how many are unknown. Unknown simply means that the item is not part of this combination.
  3. Depending on how many medals there are, alter the combination Ex. for MMMM, if 2 were correct, keep two medals in the combination. The combination can then be changed to MMSS.
  4. You will come across answers that are neither correct nor unknown, but incorrect. That means th item is correct, but it is in the wrong position.
  5. This takes some practice and time. You also have to very organized and think logically in order to pass this stage.
  • You get seven attempts at the combination. Every time you try and fail, monsters will be summoned. To avoid the monsters, simply press Esc or End Chat after getting an answer from the Guard Statue. If you cannot figure out the combination after seven tries, monsters are summoned, and the combination changes. The number of tries is also reset back to 0.
  • There is a chart, but I'm too lazy to make it right now.
Stage 4
In this stage, you do quests and defeat monsters in order to try to get some dead old guy's (Sharen III's) clothes.
  • There are four clusters of portals. One portal in each of the four clusters lead to a room in which a clothes item can be obtained.
  • The other portals are possible teleports to other clusters, because not all can be reached through walking.
  • In the first cluster, there are six portals. The bottom right portal of that cluster is the one that leads to a room. Kill the monsters and pick up the signs. Drop the nine signs on the locked portal to proceed. To the jumping quest and break the box at the end. Obtain the Sharen III's shoes and proceed to the next map.
  • In the second cluster, there are three portals. Do the jumping quest and obtain Sharen III's pants and proceed to the next map. This jumping quest requires haste (I think).
  • In the third cluster, there are also three portals. The bottom portal is the one that leads to a room. This room can only be entered by a character that is level 30-. Enter the room, and defeat all the devil slimes. Collect the 20 signs and drop it in front of the locked door. Enter the room and do the jumping quest. Break the box at the end to obtain Sharen III's hat.
  • In the fourth cluster, there are five portals. The one in the center is the one that leads to a room. This room requires a ranged attacker. Kill the gargoyle on the top to stop the spawn of the ugly things swarming you on the bottom. Kill the ugly things on the bottom. Collect the 8 signs and drop them in front of the locked door. Proceed to the next room. Do the jumping quests and obtain Sharen III's top. Move on to the next map.
The four rooms lead to one map at the end. You will find a pile of dead bones by the portal in the far right. Drop the clothes on the grave. The clothes will disappear in the following order: shoes, pants, top, hat. Once all the clothes disappears, Sharen will appear. The leader will click on Sharen to pass this stage. Move on to the next stage.
Stage 5
At the far right end of this map you will find a gate. This gate leads to Ergoth (the boss). The gate will open when a pair of Protector Rock earrings is dropped on top of it. Hence, a sacrifice is needed. This is typically the lvl 30-, but it doesn't have to be.
  • Open your equipment inventory and drop the earrings directly from that inventory. Do not take the earrings off before dropping them. You will die before you get a chance to drop them.
  • Press okay after you die. You will be sent back to the second map of Protector Rocks. Obtain a second set of Protector Rock earrings and wear it. You may walk back if you wish to do so, but there is no need because once your guild members defeats Ergoth and clears the stage, you will be transported automatically to the bonus stage.
Break the crystal that is on the throne on the right in the next map. This will summon Ergoth. Kill Ergoth and obtain the Rubian.
Give the Rubian to the leader. The leader then talk to the Guard Statue to pass the stage. Everyone is automatically teleported to the bonus stage.
Bonus stage
Like many other bonuses, you will have one minute to break boxes. Break as many boxes as possible and collect your prize. Don't fight for boxes, that's just lame. Cracks in the pillars are teleports to other places in the bonus map, so spread out.
