Pirate Party Quest Guide (created by Pinky)

Things You Should Know

The level requirement for this party quest is 55-100 inclusive. It takes place in in Herb Town: Over the Ship. You need 3-6 people in a party in order to start the quest. If someone disconnects or leaves and there is less than three people in the party quest, the party quest can sill be completely as long as the members inside are still in the same party, and the party leader is still inside. You're going to need hp pots and mp pots. This party quest is unlike all the others. There's no thinking involved, just killing.

The lower the levels are, the more experience you get when the quest is completed at the end. Ex. Six level 55s will earn you 42,000 experience from Guon at the end. Three level 100s will earn you 20,000 experience from Guon at the end.

If you have to leave the party quest, talk to Guon who appears on each stage, or just log off. If you are the leader and you kick someone out of your party, everyone will be transported out of the map, and the party quest fails.

To Start

Make sure you have enough hp and mp pots. Go to channel 1 on Herb Town: Over the Ship to get a party. Once you have a party and a channel, the leader clicks to begin the party quest. The whole party will be automatically transported to the party quest.

Stage 1

[Time: 4 minutes]

Kill all the monsters and proceed to the next map. Everyone will be transported to the next map if one person goes through.

Stage 2

[Time: 6 minutes]

The leader talks to Guon to begin the stage. Monsters will spawn. Kill the monsters. The leader picks up the 20 marks that drop from these monsters and turns them into Guon. The monsters will stop spawning. The leader will then talk to Guon again. New monsters will appear. Kill the monsters. The leader will collect 20 of those marks, and turn them into Guon. The monsters will stop spawning. The leader will then talk to Guon for a 3rd time, and monsters will appear. Kill the monsters. The leader picks up 20 of those marks and turns them into Guon. The monsters will stop spawning. Proceed to the next stage through the portal on the right. Everyone will be transported automatically after the first party member goes through.

Stage 3

[Time: 6 minutes]

Kill all of the monsters and proceed to the next stage by going through the portal at the far right. Everyone will be transported through automatically.

*Note: To get bellflower concentrate for the quest: Go into the first room on the bottom platform and kill the monsters to get them to drop bellflower concentrate. You get 1 minute for this; this one minute must be within the 5 minutes of the whole stage. Leave the room before the timer runs out or you will be transported out of the ppq. Those who are in this room will not be transported to the next stage automatically, they must go through to the next stage themselves.

**Note: To do the devoted pirates quest: Go into the second room on the bottom platform and kill as many devoted pirates as you can before the timer runs out. The timer for this one is the same as the whole stage. Leave the room before the timer runs out or you will be transported out of the ppq. Those who are in this room will not be transported to the next stage automatically, they must go through to the next stage themselves.

Stage 4

[Time: 6 minutes]

Same thing as the previous stage. However the rooms for bellflower and devoted are switched. The first room is devoted pirates, and the second room is bellflower concentrates.

Stage 5

[Time: 6 minutes]

Kill the monsters. Pick up 4 metal keys and put one on each of the four opened portals in order to stop the monsters from spawning.

It seems like this is the best way to go about this...The thief with dark sight picks up one metal key at a time (so they can drop it easily without having to type how many they want to drop) and drops it on an open portal. It seems like the first one you want to close is the Mr. Alli portal, which is the botto left one, because Mr. Allis can still attack through dark sight. After the first portal is closed, keep killing until three keys have dropped. Then the thief can go through and drop one key on each of the three remaining portals while everyone else kills the rest of the monsters. **Note: You don't want to close them as you find the key because then there are less monsters that spawn, which also means a lower probability of a metal key dropping.

Stage 6

[Time: 8 minutes]

Kill the boss and collect the loot. The leader will then talk to Miss Wu at the far right of the map. You will then be transported out of the party quest. There, you will get your experience, and possible pirate hat. You can also check how many times you have completed the party quest. There is no bonus stage. The bonus stage is whatever loot you get from killing Lord Pirate.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
**Note: There are three versions of Lord Pirate. They go as follows, from least to most difficult to kill: Lord Pirate, Angered Lord Pirate, and Enraged Lord Pirate. The Lord Pirate is the normal ppq boss. In order to make the Lord Pirate angry or enraged, you need Pirate Keys. They are sometimes dropped by the the Lord Pirate after you kill it in the boss stage.
Using the key, go to the bellflower concentrates map in Stage 3 or 4, and kill all of the monsters. After all of the monsters have been killed, a giant ugly chest will appear. Drop the key on the chest and collect the loot. Then continue with the party quest. This will make the Lord Pirate become an Angered Lord Pirate. He will do more damage, and have more hp, but he also gives more experience when you kill him.
To make the Lord Pirate enraged, you need two pirate keys, and you have to do the bellflower part in both Stage 3 and 4. You are only able to have 1 pirate key in your inventory at a time, so you need someone else in your party to have a key as well. **Note: These keys are tradeable. This will make the Lord Pirate become an Angered Lord Pirate. He will do more damage, and have more hp, but he also gives more experience when you kill him.
Like I mentioned before, there is a counter for the amount of ppqs you've done. You also get rewarded a Pirate Hat or an ungraded Pirate Hat if you do enough ppqs. When you complete the party quest after killing an Angered Lord Pirate, the counter counts it as two party quests rather than one. When you complete the party quest after killing an Enraged Lord Pirate, the counter counts it as three party quests rather than one.
